Beuchat is an European designer and manufacturer of quality scuba diving, snorkeling, freediving, spearfishing and water sport equipment.

Founded by George Beuchat in the Thirties, the company Beuchat has been involved in the development of all aspect of underwater activities.

In 1953, George Beuchat invented the first isothermal diving suit.

Beuchat has a long tradition in scuba diving. For instance, Albert Falco, captain of the famous Calypso was introduced to scuba diving and to Cousteau by George Beuchat near Marseille in France.
